Elvi Hale (born 1930/1931) is a British actress. Born Patricia Elvi Hake, her birth was registered in the first quarter of 1931. She later changed her name to "Elvi Hale", at least professionally, if not legally.Raised in Romford, Essex, she may be best known for playing Anne of Cleves in The Six Wives of Henry VIII, broadcast in 1970. Hale was nominated for a BAFTA award for most promising film newcomer for her performance in Wendy Toye's True as a Turtle (1957).
