Jeffery James Tremaine, commonly known as Jeff Tremaine, is a well-known American film director and producer, television director, screenwriter, as well as an editor. To the public, Jeff Tremaine is perhaps best known as one of the creators of the popular reality series called “Jackass”, which first aired on the MTV network in 2001. Prior to his involvement with the series, Tremaine worked with Marc McKee, Mike Ballard and others on the “Big Brother” skateboarding magazine, where he served as a writer. Upon meeting Johnny Knoxville, Tremaine convinced him to film the series of jokes and stunts he was performing, thus in this way giving life to the “Jackass” show. Tremaine’s most recent venture with the “Jackass” crew is a 2013 hidden camera comedy film called “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa”, starring Johnny Knoxville and Jackson Nicoll.
